Enchanted by the waters of Nike Lake, Enugu

I peeped through a hole on a massive tree trunk, and at me peeked a viscous sheet of mud-brown fluid punctuated at different corners by verdant water lilies and rimmed along its banks by lush and verdant forests. The water lilies danced slowly as the waves of the lake gently swirled, glistening in the flood of sun rays showered upon it from the blue skies above.
