In the land of Igarra, Edo State, rumbles a gracious, yet unknown waterfall. Along the course of River Pankasha it forms, just as its dust-coloured waters plunge down a steep 6m-high and 10m-wide rock-face of foliated quartzite.

The landscape that surrounds Pankasha River is a stylish fabric of grass land and punctuations of small trees and shrubs, while the rugged river channel itself is lined by thickets of thick forest vegetation. At the far distance soars lush hills which stretch across the horizon with ostentatious demeanour and pulls its observer as the scents of nectar pulls the bee.

As one approaches the location of the waterfall, its deafening noise is not quickly perceived until one is just about 50m away from the falls- probably due to thick vegetation around it. This waterfall, its surroundings which features gently rolling plains of grassland tucked between ridges of varying rock types and formations, as well as the tourist-friendly Igarra people that dominates the area- all together pose great touristic significance and asset to the Igarra land, the Edo State and our nation, Nigeria.

Igarra area undoubtedly stands as one of the numerous unexplored tourist destination the Nigerian landmass is blessed with. It is a choice location for siting geo parks, holiday resorts, theme parks and golf courses.
