World Tourism Day 2011: Linking Cultures through Tourism

Yesterday, 27th Sepember marked the annual World Toursim Day (WTD) and the Egytian City of Aswan was selected to host this year’s celebration.

At Naijatreks, we took the day as a moment to reflect back on our ventures so far across the Naija landmass and we have been greatly overwhelmed by the volume of our feats and discoveries. Also, we decided to take the opportunity to renew our commitment to our primary goal, which is to explore and expose the hidden wealths encased in the wilds of our dear country, Nigeria.

We also wish to appreciate you, our readers and supporters, being our greatest asset, and with whom we’ve been so much delighted to explore Naija together, through our beautiful virtual gallery called Naijatreks.com.
